Taimba is a mobile-based cashless business-to-business platform that connects farmers to retailers. The first of its kind in East Africa for a Data-Driven Food supply chain Platform. By organizing farmers into various farm groups, Taimbia supports them to improve farm productivity and ensure they access consistency in the market and fair prices by shortening the agriculture supply chain.

Taimba provides improved market access for small holder farmers and a predictable supply of low-cost and quality produce for urban traders. Currently, they source from across East Africa markets as well as distribution within Nairobi. Taimba has a fully developed eCommerce platform, and a fulfilment app and cold logistics last mile logistics.
